Industry Executive - As part of his tenure with GE Capital, Parag cycled out to an industry operating role for two-years at Genpact, India’s largest business process outsourcing company and an operating subsidiary of GE.
Venture Investor - Parag has been an institutional venture investor in India most of his 18 year career. He has invested in 27 companies across India, resulting in 14 exits including three IPOs to date – most notably Geometric Software, Powertel Boca, vEngines, Vertex India, and TV Today. Parag’s venture career began with ICICI Ventures in Bangalore in 1993, near the beginning of India’s economic liberalization and emergence of its venture industry. At ICICI, Parag was part of the core team investing in India’s fast emerging technology, media & telecom sectors. In 2000, Parag moved to Delhi to join GE Equity where he continued his early-stage venture investing focus. Before joining the Inventus team in the spring of 2008, Parag had been an Associate Director at Intel Capital’s India venture team in Bangalore. At Inventus, Parag is a Board Director at redBus, Vizury, and Wealth India.

Parag is a Charter Member of TiE Bangalore and has an MBA from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore and a BSME from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi.
