B.V. Jagadeesh has been an Indo-American entrepreneur for over a decade. He is currently group vice president and general manager of the Application Networking Group for Citrix. He is responsible for the group’s revenue attainment and product marketing, product management, development and strategic direction. Prior to Citrix, B.V. served as President and CEO of NetScaler, Inc., a privately held leader in high performance application networking which Citrix acquired in 2005. Prior to NetScaler, B.V. was co-founder and CTO for Exodus Communications, a highly successful company initially financed by Kanwal Rekhi and a syndicate of individual investors including John Dougery Sr. Exodus doubled revenue quarter-to-quarter for ten consecutive quarters to become one of the most highly valued venture-backed public companies in Silicon Valley with over $2B in annual revenues and a peak market value over $30 billion. Prior to founding Exodus, B.V. held various management and engineering positions at Novell and 3Com.
A native of India, he earned a BSEE from Bangalore University and a master’s in electrical engineering from University of Bombay, India before immigrating to the United States and becoming a U.S. Citizen.
